Brenna Miller
Fitness Instructor & Yoga Teacher
Brenna came into her passion for body movement therapy as a young adult, after suffering from depression and PTSD from a traumatic car accident. Through yoga and meditation, Brenna was able to heal her body and mind and it set her on a path that has changed her life. In 2006, she became a certified yoga instructor and went onto study many other modalities of movement that include both land and water exercise. She is certified in Hatha & Rasamaya Yoga, Meridian Yoga, Anatomy in Clay, Pilates Beginner through Advanced Mat, Pilates Beginner Apparatus, Pfilates (Pelvic Floor Pilates), and Thai Body Work. She has taken additional coursework on nutrition and women's health studies and currently works as the Fitness & Wellness Director of the Willows of Worcester, an independent living community for seniors.
Brenna loves to give back to her community and works with cancer survivors through the LIVEStrong program at the YMCA. She believes through a healthy practice that one is able to exchange stress, trauma and fear for vitality, peace and joy. Brenna enjoys hiking in the woods of New England, paddle boarding with friends and pursuing creative arts such as photography and pottery.
