About Karl Webster
Karl is a dedicated Vinyasa yoga instructor with an emphasis on finding pleasure in movement, meditation and mantra. With 15 years of experience in the practice, his approach combines fluid movement with intentional breathwork, encouraging students to connect deeply with their bodies and minds.
Karl grew up in the countryside of Maine, where he spent as much time as possible outdoors, always drawn to the quiet wisdom of the natural world. At fourteen, he discovered yoga through a book, and it changed his life. It revealed what nature had always whispered—that true balance and peace comes from within. That realization set him on a lifelong path of practice and exploration. Years later, he pursued formal training as a yoga teacher, first in Venice, California, with Saul David Raye, and later in Boston, where he fulfilled a dream of studying with Shiva Rea.
“I see yoga as not something to perfect, but as a practice of gentle self-compassion—a way to access the union that already exists with the true self. Whether in movement or stillness, yoga is a return to that blissful presence.”
